New members needed to breathe life into Batley fundraising committee

Wise Up To Cancer

Yorkshire Cancer Research is funding a new, exciting community health programme called ‘Wise Up To Cancer’. The programme aims to lower cancer risk by promoting healthy lifestyles, encouraging people to take part in their cancer screening and look out for cancer signs and symptoms.

New Interim Chief Executive

Yorkshire Cancer Research has announced that its Chief Executive, Charles Rowett, has decided to leave and relocate back to Suffolk where he and his family lived for over 20 years before joining the Charity in 2012.
The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that until such time as a permanent replacement is found that Dr Kathryn Scott, the Director of Research and Innovation, will take over with immediate effect as Interim Chief Executive.
