It’s that time of year again at the Howden Rotary Club, so grab your bikes (plus as much brightly coloured Lycra as you may require!) and sign up for one of three gorgeous rides taking place on the 24th September 2017 around the Howden, Goole and Gilberdyke area.
Choose from either a five, seven or 20 mile route around the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, some of which feature a section on the famous Trans-Pennine Trail.
And we promise …absolutely no hills!
So whether you’re looking for something active to do with the kids one weekend, or you’re desperate to beat your cycling sprint personal best, make sure you sign up! It’s an easy and fun way to raise money for vital local charities like ours.
The Howden Rotary club will organise the route, registration, marshalling and refreshment and all that’s left for you to do is to support us by choosing Yorkshire Cancer Research as your charity of choice! To register simply contact Richard at email@example.com then visit our events page here and fill in your details to download one of our sponsorship forms. All the money you raise will come directly to us, and when your sponsors select the Gift Aid option they’ll be giving us an extra 25p per £1 donation that would usually go to the government, making it well worth the effort.
If you’re interested in supporting us at other events, you can find plenty of information here too. You’ll be involved in something very special when you join team Yorkshire today by playing an active part in helping the people of Yorkshire avoid, survive and cope with cancer. So come on, let’s make those affected by cancer proud.
