Donate in memory

If you have lost a loved one, a donation to Yorkshire Cancer Research can help you pay a lasting tribute to their memory by contributing to our world-class research into cancer.

There are lots of different ways to donate in memory of a loved one:

Set up an In Memoriam online donation webpage

You can set up an online fundraising page so that family and friends can donate quickly and easily by credit or debit card, wherever they are in the world. To get started just click the link below.

Collect at a funeral

Your funeral director may be able to help you by collecting and forwarding donations, or you can send them directly to our head office at the address below.

If you would like to increase the amount you collect through the Gift Aid scheme, you can request Gift Aid envelopes too, by calling us on 01423 501269.

Ask for donations in lieu of flowers

You can ask friends or relatives to send donations directly to us at the address above in your loved one’s name. If you contact us to let us know that you will be collecting for us, we will acknowledge all donations sent in memory of your friend or relative. Again, we can increase the amount donated by claiming Gift Aid and you can request envelopes by ringing the number above. If you would like us to Gift Aid your donation, you will need to inform us that you are a UK taxpayer and you would like us to reclaim the tax on your donation. You can do this by filling in our Gift Aid Declaration, or by calling 01423 501269 and making an Oral Declaration over the phone.
