Digital Marketing Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketing Executive to join Yorkshire Cancer Research’s Marketing and Communications team. Reporting to the Head of Communications, the purpose of the role is to provide support to the Head of Communications, Digital Marketing Officer, and the wider team to drive traffic to the Yorkshire Cancer Research website, increase its following across all online channels including social media networks. A key part of this role will be to work alongside the Fundraising Team to engage with supporters and generate income.

Research Engagement Manager

The Research Engagement Manager will drive support for the Charity and the work we fund by increasing regional engagement with patients, researchers, clinicians and fundraisers to raise awareness of the work we do and the benefit this has for cancer outcomes in Yorkshire. Stakeholder engagement will be delivered through public facing events such as open days and facility tours and the provision of relevant branded information to raise the profile of the Charity. You will act as a role model internally and an ambassador for the Charity externally by living and displaying our values. The Research Engagement Manager role will be part of the Research & Innovation Team based in Harrogate and involve frequent travel across Yorkshire.

Partnerships Fundraising Officer

Exciting opportunity for a dynamic self-starter looking to help shape and grow the corporate and partners fundraising income for Yorkshire Cancer Research. As Corporate and Partnerships Officer you will work closely with the Events and Partnerships Manager to generate income and in-kind support from the corporate sector with a specific focus on Sports, Arts, and Education industries.
 
This is an opportunity to make your mark and further develop your relationship fundraising skills maintaining and developing existing partnerships and inputting into the acquisition of prospective partners. The Corporate and Partnerships Fundraising Officer is a vital member of the fundraising team and plays a central role in helping retain and grow Yorkshire Cancer Research’s income.

Fundraising Team Administrator

As the Fundraising Team administrator , your role is essential – you will be responsible for provide administrative and practical support to the Regional Fundraising Team and to the Corporate and Partnerships Fundraising Officers; ensuring that we deliver a professional, consistent level of service to internal and external stakeholders. You will also supervise the workload of a small team of back office administrative staff. You will have excellent customer service skills, proven history of meeting targets, strong organisational, administrative and communication skills, a flexible approach to a busy and varied workload and a passion for improving the lives of people affected by cancer.

Regional Fundraising Officer(s) (West and South Yorkshire)

As one of our team of Regional Fundraising Officers your job is to develop, implement and manage a multi-disciplinary community fundraising strategy to deliver fundraised income, achieving agreed targets.
 
To recruit, support and grow a strong network of fundraising volunteers who can represent Yorkshire Cancer Research across your defined regional area.
 
To act as the first point of contact for Yorkshire Cancer Research supporters within the region, providing focus for fundraising and other Yorkshire Cancer Research activities. You will act as a role model internally and an ambassador for the Charity externally by living and displaying our values. The Regional Fundraising role will be part of the Fundraising Team based in Harrogate but you will be homebased and your role will involve frequent travel across your region.
