Selby Tree of Light

You are invited to sponsor a light in memory of family and friends by donating to Yorkshire Cancer Research. The names of sponsors and those remembered are recorded in a Book of Remembrance, which is available to read in the Selby Town Hall.

The Selby Tree of Light, created to celebrate the lives of loved ones, is to be lit for the 26th year on Saturday, 30th November at 4:30pm, following a carol concert by St Mary’s School Choir at 4pm in the Town Hall.

The Tree of Light event has been running since 1999, and in that time has raised more than £27,000 to help fund vital research in the region.

Plan your visit

This is not a ticketed event, the public are free to turn up on the day. If you would like any more information, please contact Caroline Dawson by email.
