This May, we’re walking to raise £100,000 to help bring more cancer cures to people in Yorkshire. We’re stepping out to celebrate 100 years of life-saving cancer research in our region.

An event for all workmates
We Walk for Yorkshire is an event that brings everyone together, regardless of ability or location. It is a month-long event where you set your own target and contribute to a much bigger picture to help save lives in Yorkshire, and beyond.
For your workplace, it helps team building, wellbeing and positive public outreach at the same time as raising vital funds for cancer research.

We Walk for Yorkshire 2024 was the perfect prompt we needed to kickstart our Walk and Talk meetings as co-founders. In Yorkshire, 31,000 people receive a cancer diagnosis every year. When you fundraise for Yorkshire Cancer Research, you’re helping to fund pioneering research to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer in our region.
