‘The Enemy Within’ tells the incredible story of our fight against cancer over the last 50 years. Through the eyes of scientists, researchers and patients, we see how far we have come and how far we still have to go. Join us for a free screening of this absorbing documentary followed by a question and answer session with leading cancer clinicians and researchers. We are delighted to be staging this event in partnership with the University of Hull as part of the celebrations of the opening of the new Allam Medical Building, the centre-piece of the University’s £28 million health campus. The building will play a pivotal role in delivering medical training and research which will improve the health of people across the region and beyond.

Location – The Allam Medical Building is located at the heart of the main University of Hull campus.
By car – free parking will be available on the University campus in the multi-storey Wilberforce car park. Click on the link to the map (below) – the Wilberforce car park is in map reference square F2 (where it says ‘P open November 2017’). The car park is best accessed via the rear entrance to the campus, off Inglemire Lane. Disabled drivers are welcome to use the disabled parking spaces located between the Allam Medical Building (numbered 5 and located in square C3 on the map) and the Brynmor Jones library (numbered 8 and located in square D3 on the map). These parking spaces are also best accessed via the rear entrance to the campus, off Inglemire Lane.
By bus – services 105 (stand 20) and 103 (stand 13) will take you from the central bus station to the main entrance of the University.
