Donate your goods

Our shops are an important source of income for the charity, helping fund new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer in Yorkshire.

We are grateful for your good quality donations, in a clean and saleable condition.

You can donate your good quality items directly to our shops in Harrogate, Leeds, Knaresborough, Northallerton, Ripon, Pickering and Skipton. 

Donating your items is easier than ever – you can now post your donations directly to our donation centre in Harrogate, completely free of charge.

1. Pack your items up in an envelope, parcel or box of your choice
2. Request a Freepost label (this will be emailed to you), print your label at home or download your print in-store voucher
3. Take your packaged donation to a Collect+ drop off point so it can be posted to us for free

You can drop your donations at our Donation Centre in Harrogate. Find us at Hornbeam Square West, Harrogate, HG2 8PA

With ample free parking, we are open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. We can accept good quality clothing, homewares, toys, books, small electrical and furniture.

We can collect your donations from you if:

1. You are within a 10 mile radius of one of our shops or our Donation Centre in Harrogate, and
2. Have more than 6 bags or boxes of clean, good quality items to donate. This could include furniture or small electricals.

We kindly request you to pack your items safely and securely in bags and boxes suitable for transit, weighing no more than 10kg each. Ideally no bigger than 60x40x25cm and left in a suitable downstairs location for our drivers to safely collect.

Donating goods to Yorkshire Cancer Research is a great way for businesses to dispose of returns and end of line stock, whilst freeing up space for new ranges. It also reduces waste, and prevents the use of landfill.

Your donations will enhance your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and are a tax-efficient way of supporting us - If you donate goods that your business makes or sells, you can claim the cost of these goods in your business accounts.
