Join the Yorkshire Cancer Research team at the Great North Run and help people in Yorkshire avoid, survive and cope with cancer.

The Great North Run is an iconic half marathon with over 55,000 runners starting in Newcastle City Centre and finishing 13.1 miles later along the beautiful coast at South Shields. Whether you are an experienced runner or looking to step up to the challenge and be inspired by all the charitable stories we hear each year; we’re sure you’ll love this event.

Do you need a place?

We have a ballot open to secure your place with places allocated on a case-by-case basis; so make sure you give us as much information as possible! We will try to contact you within 10 working days to let you know if you’ve been successful or not.

If successful, you will be charged a registration fee of £56. In return, we will provide first-rate support for your fundraising, including some great ideas to get you started. You’ll also receive a Yorkshire Cancer Research running vest so everyone knows you’re supporting a great cause.
