Great Yorkshire Bike Ride

Let’s do this for Yorkshire!

In Yorkshire, 594 people a week receive a cancer diagnosis. When you fundraise for Yorkshire Cancer Research, you fund research to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer in Yorkshire.

Yorkshire Cancer Research is proud to continue its partnership with The Great Yorkshire Bike Ride - an annual 70 mile charity cycle ride from Wetherby to Filey. The route takes in some of Yorkshire’s best countryside through the Howardian Hills and the Yorkshire Wolds to the coast. Every year 2,000 cyclists of all ages and abilities take on the challenge of this great Yorkshire event.

If you would like to purchase a Yorkshire Cancer Research cycling jersey, please email for more details.

*Please note that registrations for 2020 will be taken via the Heart Research UK website. After clicking 'Sign up today', you will be redirected to this site.

Supporting Yorkshire Cancer Research

“We received brilliant support at St James’s in Leeds. I decided I wanted to give something back for the sake of others facing cancer. Since then, my wife Bev has been gaining strength so we decided to do something together to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research.”
