In Yorkshire, 594 people a week receive a cancer diagnosis. When you fundraise for Yorkshire Cancer Research, you fund research to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer in Yorkshire.
Taking place on the same day as the Hull Half Marathon, this festival of running brings thousands of runners to the city's streets. The largely flat course takes in sights like The Deep, Humber Dock Marina, Hull City Hall and the University of Hull before heading back for the grand finish in the heart of the city centre.
“We received brilliant support at St James’s in Leeds. I decided I wanted to give something back for the sake of others facing cancer. Since then, my wife Bev has been gaining strength so we decided to do something together to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research.”
