In Yorkshire, 594 people a week receive the devastating news of being diagnosed with cancer. The money you raise can make a real difference as we fund doctors, hospitals and cancer experts to improve treatments and save lives.

Find out more about the work that we fund here.

The Sheffield Half Marathon is a major event in the UK's running calendar which attracts lots of runners of all ages and abilities to the Steel City's streets. This event boasts a beautifully scenic route including gorgeous views of the Peak District. This varied race also gives entrants a chance to participate in a timed hill climb in order to be crowned 'King of the Hill' or 'Queen of the Hill'. On top of this, there's also a 10K downhill sprint section to look forward to.
