Let’s do this for Yorkshire!

In Yorkshire, nearly 600 people receive a cancer diagnosis every week. When you fundraise for Yorkshire Cancer Research, you're helping to fund pioneering research to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer in our region.

York 10k

Places available

This event is one of Yorkshire’s most popular 10Ks, offering runners the chance to run through the heart of the wonderful, ancient city. Starting and finishing in Knavesmire Road close to the racecourse, runners will enjoy some of York’s historic gems such as Clifford’s Tower, the city walls and the internationally famous minster. Being a flat and fast course also means this run provides plenty of potential for those runners seeking that elusive PB!

Supporting Yorkshire Cancer Research

“We received brilliant support at St James’s in Leeds. I decided I wanted to give something back for the sake of others facing cancer. Since then, my wife Bev has been gaining strength so we decided to do something together to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research.”
