Our RhiNO To Cancer campaign in conjunction with Leeds Rhinos has been developed in order to lower fans' cancer risk and encourage earlier diagnosis. The campaign follows the national cancer awareness month themes with a different focus each month. Our integrated approach across the charity, Leeds Rhinos and Leeds Rhinos Foundation ensures that we achieve a greater impact through our messages to fans.
One of our main activities with Leeds Rhinos is our official Yorkshire Cancer Research takeover game. Activity at our takeover game on 28 July 2019 will focus on educating fans about how to stay safe in the sun.
We’re also working with the Leeds Rhinos women’s team to highlight community health advice and research projects throughout the region. As part of this, our logo has been included on the team’s first kit for the 2019 Women’s Super League season and we have team ambassadors to attend events and be community role models.
