Free Will terms and conditions

The Will writing services are provided by selected third party companies. If you use the service of one of our selected partners, you will enter into a direct contractual relationship with the relevant company, not Yorkshire Cancer Research. Although due diligence has been carried out on our Will writing partners, Yorkshire Cancer Research cannot endorse or guarantee that the services provided are of a better quality than other Will writing companies.

Yorkshire Cancer Research recommends that you carry out your own independent research on Will writing services and only choose one of our partners if you are satisfied with their level and quality of service.

Customers with more complex estates may find that a standard Will offered through the free Will service is not suitable and that a more specific advice-based service is required. If you are in any doubt about the suitability of the Will writing services offered through our selected partners, we recommend speaking to a solicitor.

Yorkshire Cancer Research excludes all liabilities, losses, damages, claims, costs and expenses arising as a result of your use of the services provided by one of our Will writing partners, unless they are caused as a direct result of a negligent act by Yorkshire Cancer Research.


Payment of Wills

Wills received through the Free Will offer will be free to the customer and paid for by Yorkshire Cancer Research. Our Will writing partners may discuss further charges with you that are not part of the standard Will service and you will be liable for any additional costs.

The costs associated with the free Will service are provided from the fundraising budget of Yorkshire Cancer

Research and the charity is committed to reviewing the cost-effectiveness of this service on a regular basis. Yorkshire Cancer Research reserves the right to withdraw the free Will offer at any time.


Customer Restrictions

All customers must be 18 years of age or above and live in England or Wales. Customers can only claim one free Will paid for by Yorkshire Cancer Research during their lifetime.


Leaving a Gift to Yorkshire Cancer Research

There is no obligation to include a gift in your Will to Yorkshire Cancer Research by using our free Will service however we would be hugely grateful for your support. We encourage anyone benefitting from this offer to consider leaving Yorkshire Cancer Research a percentage of their estate or a monetary gift, however large or
small.

If you wish to leave a gift in your Will to Yorkshire Cancer Research, please include the charity’s postal address and registered charity number.
