Giving hope to Yorkshire. Our new TV appeal content
From March 8 television viewers in the Yorkshire region may catch sight of our new appeal.
The appeal asks supporters in Yorkshire to donate just £5 a month to help support the life-saving research that is funded in order to help protect and save the lives of people in Yorkshire.
As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, many of the the research programmes we fund have been significantly impacted and vital cancer services have been delayed or halted. Meanwhile, events and activities which raise valuable funds that are invested in life-saving cancer research have been cancelled.
We are incredibly grateful for the support of the patients and professionals who appear in the advert, which was filmed using footage obtained before the coronavirus pandemic began, or in a safe and secure way outside.
