Response to the Science, Innovation and Technology Select Committee’s ‘Under the Microscope’ Inquiry

The Science, Innovation and Technology Select Committee recently launched a Parliamentary inquiry. This asked what the focus of the Select Committee should be during this Parliamentary term.

Yorkshire Cancer Research believes that young people from across Yorkshire should be able to access a career in science and cancer research. The next generation of researchers are vital to the continued delivery of world-leading cancer research in our region. In our inquiry response, we suggest how the Government can go further to support more young people from all backgrounds into a career in science.
