Join our Patient and Public Involvement Community

People affected by cancer are at the heart of Yorkshire Cancer Research

By involving patients, carers, and the public, we can better understand the needs and priorities of those we aim to help, making sure our work is relevant, accessible and has a real impact on lives in Yorkshire.

What does the community do?

People who sign up to the Patient and Public Involvement Community will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of the charity’s activities, meaningfully influencing our work.

This could be through sitting on special review panels, taking part in workshops or focus groups, or providing feedback across a variety of topics. People are encouraged to use their own personal experience to help us understand the issues, concerns and perspectives of people affected by cancer.
