Pink wood fired pizza oven to be auctioned by Yorkshire Cancer Research content
A Yorkshire business has donated an exclusive pink wood fired pizza oven to be auctioned by Yorkshire Cancer Research.
Huddersfield-based DeliVita donated the one-off Perky Pink wood fired oven to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month and raise vital funds for life-saving research in Yorkshire.
Joe Formisano, founder and MD of DeliVita said: “We hope that our oven will empower, uplift and inspire people to help raise awareness and money through the auction or by donating to the charity.”
The table-top portable oven can be used to make restaurant-quality pizzas at home, as well as being used as a modern BBQ, hot smoker, tandoor oven and slow cooker.
The money raised from the auction will help improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer in the region.
Juliet Glendinning, Director at Yorkshire Cancer Research said: “We are really grateful to DeliVita for their donation of the pink wood fired oven. It’s a great fundraising idea and is sure to be a colourful addition to the winner’s garden that’ll be great for home entertaining.”
The auction is currently active, and open for bids until Sunday, 31st October.
