Saul Muldoon planned the route, which started and finished at the historic landmark of Castle Hill, riding between the most north, east, south and west points of Kirklees and climbing more than 10,000 feet. Saul said:

“The team set a fundraising target of £1,500, and we are overwhelmed to have doubled that amount. A huge thank you to everyone who donated.”

Jane Dutton, Chairman of the Huddersfield Voluntary Committee, Yorkshire Cancer Research said: “We would like to thank the Stadium Riders and their supporters for raising an outstanding £3,000. The money raised will help to save lives by improving the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer in Yorkshire.”
