Yorkshire Cancer Research begins 2025 with new charity shop in Ilkley content
Yorkshire Cancer Research has opened a new charity shop in Ilkley, inviting people to discover a treasure trove of items and support life-saving cancer research in Yorkshire.
The new store is nestled in the heart of Ilkley on The Grove, offering a sleek and modern interior fitted with light-up mirrors and vibrant plants. Shoppers in Ilkley can browse a range of high-quality, new and pre-loved products, including ladies, men’s and children’s fashion and accessories, as well as homeware, books and media.
The new shop is expected to raise £150,000 each year, helping the charity to bring world-leading research and pioneering services to people with cancer in Yorkshire.
Quote from Rosa Sargent
Yorkshire Cancer Research could not do its vital work without the commitment of hundreds of volunteers across the region. Volunteers play a crucial role in supporting the charity’s mission to find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer in Yorkshire and beyond.

Two more charity shops - in Selby and Heckmondwike - are also expected to open their doors over the coming weeks, supporting the charity’s target to have a charity shop on every high street in Yorkshire. These new openings bring the charity’s total number of shops to 15, up from seven at the beginning of 2024.
