Experiences of diagnostic pathways and cancer care during the COVID-19-pandemic

The lockdown and NHS reshuffle needed to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic had a big impact on cancer care.

About the trial

Fewer people were referred to hospital for cancer symptoms and fewer received treatment for a current cancer diagnosis.

This study will interview patients, their carers, hospital doctors and GPs to find out about their experiences of the diagnosis, care and treatment for cancer during the pandemic.

This will help give a better understanding of what happened to improve how cancer care is delivered during future health pandemics.
