The Yorkshire Cancer Research bladder cancer patient reported outcomes survey content
Bladder cancer is a common disease with worse outcomes in Yorkshire than the rest of the UK.
This research programme will develop a tool to assess patient reported outcomes for those with bladder cancer. It will survey the affected population of Yorkshire to understand outcomes that matter most to patients, to identify gaps in care and barriers to care improvements, and methods to improve the quality of life of affected patients.
This information will be used to improve care delivery (mirroring best practices), to better counsel patients (about likely outcomes), and to identify areas of need and barriers to change.
