We are a Yorkshire charity and we love to celebrate our big and beautiful region. In the run up to Yorkshire Day on August 1st, we have created some resources for you to use, whether learning at home or in the classroom. We hope they will be fun.
On Yorkshire Day, August 1st, we’ll be attempting to set a new virtual world record and we need as many people involved as possible.
In the run up to Yorkshire Day, our worksheets will encourage pupils to learn about the wonderful place in which they live. You can use these worksheets in your lesson plans or share on school newsletters and social media as a resource for parents and pupils.
Download our FREE resources for KS2 and KS3 and let their imaginations take them on a journey across our region.
We’d love to share your school’s Yorkshire poems and artwork on our website so please send your entries to email@example.com
You can also share the projects on your school’s social media using #giveitsomewelly – remember to tag us in!
