The Communications Officer will be responsible for producing engaging and effective communications to support the charity in achieving its strategic aims. You will act as the charity’s copywriting specialist and be responsible for creating engaging copy that delivers factual information in keeping with the charity’s brand and tone of voice.
Reporting to the Head of Communications, the Communications Officer will act as the lead for all copywriting requirements. Responsibilities include regularly reviewing and driving improvements in the supporter communications journey, producing engaging marketing communications, creating written content for external and internal communications channels and working with our Graphic Designer and marketing agency. Our Communication Officer will have a strong ‘can do’ attitude and act as an ambassador for the Charity, role modelling our values of Be One Team, Have Integrity, Champion Expertise and Deliver Impact. The role will be based at our office in Harrogate.
